ChronoWerx Labs is a for-profit research and development lab working on artificial intelligence and neuromorphic computing.

What we build

ChronoWerx Labs develops cognitive architectures modeled on how the brain learns and remembers.

Our systems are designed to learn from a single experience, recall what they know from partial information, and focus on what matters in the moment. Like a human brain, they keep both short-term and long-term memory, and turn experience into lasting knowledge over time, without retraining. They are built to ground their statements in evidence they actually hold. They are designed to learn from feedback and from the results of their own actions.

Our work runs on local hardware and is being designed toward low-power neuromorphic chips. The goal is devices at the edge that keep learning and carrying out their tasks while disconnected, then share what they learned when the connection returns.

Approach

We build it, run it and measure it.

Our ideas are tested in working software before we state them as results. A software prototype is in development. It is research software, not a product for sale.

Our research is aimed at defense and aerospace systems that have to perceive, remember and decide at the edge, on little power and without a link to a data center.
